If you pay attention to these laws and are careful to follow them, then the LORD your God will keep his covenant of love with you, as he swore to your forefathers.
Deuteronomy 7:12
God is not obligated to bless us and keep His side of the covenant if we refuse to walk in His ways. If we blatantly choose to ignore His commands we will miss out on God’s best for us.
