A Jealous God...

They angered him with their high places; they aroused his jealousy with their idols

Psalm 78:58

God is a jealous God because He has given everything to save us and redeem us from Satan. The price that He paid was the death of His own Son, that is why He is jealous over us.

Courage to Exalt Christ...

I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death

Philippians 1:20

If we want Christ to be exalted in us then courage is a must. We must have the courage to endure everything for God whether it is life or death.

Men of Courage...

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.

1 Corinthians 16:13

There is no room for cowardice when you come to Christ. We have to be bold and do great exploits.

Courage to Testify...

The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, “Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.”

Acts 23:11

It takes courage to testify of the Lord but it is God Himself who encourages us to take courage.

Courage from above...

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

Acts 4:13

When we get close to God we get courage that is from above. Peter and John, unschooled, ordinary men were full of courage because they had been with Jesus.
