Anointed with Oil...

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows

Psalm 23:5

Our heads are anointed with oil from above, so our thoughts are not from below but from above - thoughts which are pure and true and just.

Saved Because of the Anointing...

Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed;
he answers him from his holy heaven
with the saving power of his right hand

Psalm 20:6

We are anointed by Jesus our High Priest and that is why God saves us in times of trouble.

Slow to Anger...

My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.

 

James 1:19-20

Be Free From Anger...

But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

 

Colossians 3:8

 

Get Rid of Anger...

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
