Jesus never fails. though the mountains be removed and the hills fade away yet God is still there strong as a rock always having compassion on us. He has compassion on us because He is our Father.
In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,” says the LORD your Redeemer.
Isaiah 54:8
It is a painful moment when God hides His face from us. But that does not mean that God is not there. It is just a time for growing up and maturing in the Lord. He is teaching us to fly as eagles and His compassion will rain upon us.

Consider the test that Job endured. Though God removed Himself for a brief moment, he emerged as the apple of God’s eye, one who was truly the beloved of God. For our love for God is really seen during the rough times we go through. After we come out of a trial victorious, God showers His deep compassion on us.
The LORD will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.
Isaiah 51:3
When the world gives up on us, God does not. When we are left with no refuge, God has compassion on us. We may be outcasts to society but God has compassion on our ruins.
Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; burst into song, O mountains! For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.
Isaiah 49:13
We are the children of God and when we are afflicted God will show compassion on us. We just need to wait on Him. For after we have been tested we will experience the great compassion and love of God.
They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat upon them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water.
Isaiah 49:10
God who has compassion on us will be our eternal guide. The desert heat nor the sun will smite us but the Almighty God will lead us in His everlasting paths.
Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!
Isaiah 30:18
We may feel at times that God does not care. But that is not true. God longs to have compassion on us. We have to wait on Him.
The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.
Psalm 145:9
God has made us and that is why He shows compassion on us.
For the LORD will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants.
Psalm 135:14
When things seem to be at a breaking point, God steps in and has compassion on His servants.
