God Will Listen to Your Cry...

I WILL cry to God with my voice, even to God with my voice, and He will give ear and hearken to me.

In the day of my trouble I seek (inquire of and desperately require) the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out [in prayer] without slacking up; I refuse to be comforted.

Psalm 77:1-2

As long as we live here in this world, there will always be times of trouble. But we can take courage because we are not left without hope. We can cry out to God in the day of our trouble and He will hear us.

Praise God in the Inner Recesses of You Heart...

Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, my Help and my God

Psalm 42:5

When our soul is cast down and we don’t have the strength to utter a prayer, we can still praise God for His faithfulness in the innermost parts of our heart.

Wait For God to Deliver You...

I WAITED patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry.

He drew me up out of a horrible pit [a pit of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings.

And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear (revere and worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the Lord.

Psalm 40:1-3

The day of deliverance is nigh to those who are in trouble. They say that God is never early but He is never late too.  When the darkest moment comes to your life, remember that it is time for the Lord to put a new song in your mouth because the dawn is about to break.

God Will Deliver You...

When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.

Psalm 34:17

We can always be confident that God will deliver us out of all our troubles not because of our own righteousness but because of Christ who has made us righteous before God.

God is Your Glory...

But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.
