Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.
Deuteronomy 7:9
God’s love is built on a covenant because of Christ. It is a covenant of love that we have with God. He has given Himself to us in His Son. Let us also likewise give our self to Him in love. It is a serious matter to give our self to God because the covenant was sealed with the very blood of His precious Son, Jesus Christ.
