We have authority to heal and cast out demons in the name of Jesus.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Matthew 28:18-19
All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Jesus and we exercise that authority in His name over the powers of darkness but only as we are led by the Lord.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[a] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[b] loosed in heaven.”
Matthew 16:19
As believers our words and our faith carry power that can bind the enemy. We have power over situations and circumstances as we exercise our power by being led by the Holy Spirit.
